November 18, 2011 - Nashville, Tennessee - Professional Credential Services, Inc. (PCS) is pleased to announce that it was recently awarded a contract with the State of Vermont, Office of Professional Regulation, Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists.
PCS will be providing Theory and Practical administration of the National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC) examinations for cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, nail technology, instructor and other disciplines as directed by the board. PCS and NIC partnered in 2003. Today, PCS administers over 365 NIC practical examinations and processes tens of thousands of applications for theory examinations annually.
Mark Setash, President and CEO of PCS, said, "The National-Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC) is a customer of PCS. However, I've known and worked with this fine organization for many years. All of us at PCS think of NIC more as a partner than a customer. PCS is very excited that the State of Vermont, Office of Professional Regulation, Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists has decided to grow this partnership even further. In working closely with the Vermont Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists, PCS vows to keep the health, safety and welfare of the public fairly regulated within its jurisdiction."
