September 21, 2012 - Nashville, Tennessee - Professional Credential Services, Inc. (PCS) is pleased to announce today that its contract with the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) was renewed for another five years.
PCS began providing services to the FSMTB in 2007 and has been instrumental in the tremendous growth experienced under the leadership of the FSMTB's Executive Director, Dr. Debra Persinger. PCS' President and CEO, Mark Setash, states "I enjoy a great working relationship with the FSMTB, as do all of the employees at PCS. We are so pleased and excited to have the opportunity to extend our relationship and expect to introduce valuable, new products and services for the FSMTB very soon."
PCS provides a wide range of administrative services for the FSMTB, including the processing of all applications for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) in accordance with the policies and procedures determined by the FSMTB. Approximately 25,000 applications are processed annually and this number is expected to increase as more jurisdictions require the MBLEx as the preferred licensing examination for the massage and bodywork profession.
Andrea Bledsoe, PCS' Executive Vice President, has been working with the FSMTB since 2007 and states, "Working with Debra, her staff and the FSMTB board members has been extremely rewarding, both personally and professionally, and we at PCS are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue serving the FSMTB."
FSMTB's Executive Director, Debra Persinger, said "We have been so well served by our partnership with PCS that it makes good business sense to continue our relationship. This will ensure the continuity of service for our candidates and ongoing benefits for the members of the FSMTB regulatory community."
